Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator

Open Newtown is looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our team and help develop a sustainable volunteering programme across Open Newtown and Hafan yr Afon.

This varied role will involve recruiting and supporting volunteers, working with community and partner organisations, developing environmental, wellbeing and green-prescribing activities, promoting opportunities, and helping us capture evidence of the difference the project makes.

14 hours per week | 12-month fixed-term contract
£26,000–£28,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Closing date: 12pm, Friday 4 September 2026
Interviews: Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026
